His wines are unmistakably Chablis with it's signature electrifying acidity, but he also manages a level of depth and complexity that led a (French) wine importer to recently remark to me that he considers Piuze' wines to be greater than Raveneau or Dauvissat - the 2 commonly cited 'best' producers.
