We are hitting up France for the bulk of this pack featuring double Malbec, with some Spanish too.
Claude Geoffray Gamay Noir is what we call our little black number, a nice bright, juicy Beaujolais but with a bit of heft and punch. Cereche Midi Rouge is from the deep South of France towards Provence, with beautiful deep blue and black fruit.
If there is one wine which got us through lockdown it was Marcel Malbec, juicy Cahors goodness - we thought we'd chuck it back in to the Red Station! The counterpoint to this is Fabian Jouves Cot de Fruit, a lighter, funkier style of Malbec. Both biodynamic, both delicious.

Finishing with a pair of Spanish beauties, Garnacha de Fuego is moorish Spanish Garnacha with lovely dark fruits and richness. Gran Cerdo Tinto is a modern take on Rioja, leaving the wood and the crianza etc classification at the door. Has a picture of a severed pigs head, its mouth stuffed with money on the label - with an explanation written beside it. Natural, pure, old-school, new wave Rioja. STSWine
