Red Wine /// Cannonau // Sardinia / Italy
New release! Dubliner Mick O'Connell has worked in every facet of the industry, he is the youngest Irish recipient of the incredibly difficult Master Of Wine (MW), buyer, mover shaker AND he has also made is own great wine in Sardinia. To boot - he is a good dude.
This is my favourite yet, super intense and spicy, great acid, less tannin. Comes of sandy soil and has awesome aromatics - I love it. If Chateauneuf-du-Pape's Rayas had a weird sibling that was the black sheep of the family, this would be it. STSWine
