King of Spanish winemaking Alvaro Palacios has extraordinarily successful projects all over Spain. Palacios Remondo is the family winery is Rioja, Descendientes de Jose Palacios he established with his nephew (and now deceased father) and in Priorat with the eponymous label Alvaro Palacios.
This 3-Pack has one of each of what he refers to as his Village wines, a step up from the entry level, and all from the fantastic 2017 vintage. Remondo Montesa 2017 is Rioja Baja, with near 100% Garnacha (92 POINTS ROBERT PARKER). Descendientes de Jose Palacios Corullon 2017 is 100% Mencia from steep vineyards in Bierzo (96 POINTS ROBERT PARKER).
