The Other Wine Company is an off-shoot of Shaw and Smith. Their Grenache is a typical thoroghbred fare, a terrific example with a bit of age. Mitolo Jester Cabernet Sauvignon will change the way you think of this Bordeaux variety: it is bright, full and juicy. Steve 'Flamo' Flamstead's (also a wine maker of the year) Giant Steps Light Dry Red is a curious wine making trend was started several vintages ago by legendary Aussie producer Simon Steele, blending cool climate Shiraz & Pinot Noir: mate, if there's anything left in the bottle 40 minutes after opening it, theres something wrong with you I was told.
