STSWine was established in 2017 by Rory Craig having moved back to Ireland after 9 years working in the wine industry in Melbourne where he amassed a huge amount of experience in the Prince Wine Store - the Southern Hemisphere's destination wine store, working with Australia's greatest wine minds. Along with WSET 1,2,3 and the Diploma, Rory has taught and hosted events and seminars and worked with countless winemakers and distributors from Europe and Australia.
Trading a traditional bricks and mortar store for an e-commerce shopfront, STSWine has sought to make shopping for, and learning about wine a more fun and vibrant experience. Rory still uses the phone as his number one sales tool, he has a particular penchant for serious Aussie wine, Burgundy, Barolo and anything containing Sangiovese.

Through our numerous appearances, events and education, STSWine seeks to impart expertise and knowledge while making wine more fun. Most of all we want to be market leaders in the sale of high quality, exciting and delicious wine.
STSWine is a family business, Rachel and Rory were married in 2013 and she helped establish the business in 2017, before coming on board full time in 2020, leaving again in 2021 to continue to pursue her own career (and save the marriage). Rachel oversaw operations and established the Grassl portfolio during her time with the company and is still heavily involved on an ad hoc and advisory capacity. Rachel is becoming less and less willing to drink anything other than Burgundy.
