As we power through the month of October and come to terms with the elimination of Ireland from the Rugby World Cup, let us console ourselves with the knowledge that we have a Bank Holiday coming up. These are all terrific wines that are found throughout our range - a couple of French dry whites, an Albarino & a nice round Italian White. On the reds, there is a low alcohol Rhone blend and a beautifully elegant Gamay from the Loire, with the other 6 erring on the side of weight, power and moreishness. Cool climate Aussie Shiraz, Languedoc Cabernet, Barbera & Nero d'Avola from Italy and a couple of meaty Spanish, a Tempranilllo from Valencia and a warming Crianza. All the leaves are brown, and the skies are grey but it ain't all bad - fortify yourself with the Autumn Mystery Case!
