This has a wonderful nose, with blackberry, licorice, Indian tea and light toasty oak. Full-bodied, with silky, integrated tannins and a long, caressing finish. A pretty, elegant young Pomerol. Much better in bottle. Close to the excellent 2000. 91 POINTS, WINE SPECTATOR

This is a strong effort from Plince, which is not normally one of my favorite Pomerols. This offering displays a dense ruby/purple color, loads of sweet licorice, black cherry and truffle-like fruit, medium to full body and a soft underbelly. WINE ADVOCATE

Quite inky, dark and plummy. Carries slightly more flesh and fruit sweetness to carry the firm, very bold tannins. Big framed and bold. CANAVAN
