The 2016 Brut Grand Cellier d' Or is a gorgeous, ethereal Champagne that is all about grace. Floral and citrus notes abound in a weightless, translucent Champagne that has so much to offer. The 2016 is not an obvious wine at all, but rather a Champagne that dazzles with nuance and understatement. I loved it. Disgorged: July, 2020. Drink: 2021-2031. (Nov 2021) 93 POINTS, VINOUSDisgorged in July 2020, the 2016 Brut Premier Cru Grand Cellier d'Or unwinds in the glass with inviting aromas of orange oil, green orchard fruit, freshly baked bread, blanched almonds and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and elegant, it's pretty and seamless, with a charming core of fruit, bright acids and a delicate pinpoint mousse. Drink: 2021-2035. (Jan 2022) 93 POINTS, WINE ADVOCATE
