White Wine /// Aligote // Burgundy / France
Fuck yeah! She is back! Aligote is becoming very cool and the price is going up. A neat little alternative to Burgundian Chardonnay, it was hitherto grown by the French mostly for personal use as it was cheaper. It is now becoming cool.
It's on the more spritzy, racy end of the white spectrum. The best will be razor sharp but with a little weight and texture without the green character of Sauv Blanc. This is a great example. STSWine
