This is amazing. GOON BAGS originated in Australia as a cheap and effective way to get drunk (goon refers to both the liquid and the consumer - typically an idiot backpacker like I was at one stage - thankfully no longer a backpacker). The dynamic has now changed to sustainability as serious winemakers try to decrease their footprint and we find quality wine in BIB (bag in box). As you consume the wine the bag decompresses reducing the oxygen exposure and prolonging the freshness.
Syrah, Petite Syrah, Tempranillo, Carignane, Zinfandel, all organic or biodynamic. Terrific mid weight smasher, it carries all the hallmarks of Kenny's wines, its fresh, elegant and fun to drink. The general guidelines for Bag in Box is drink within 4-6 weeks when you start it. STSWine
