Godello, Galician Goddess: Godello 6-Pack

GODELLO  (pronounced GO-DAY-HO) always gives me a feeling of fallen orchard fruit, lovely juicy texture with luscious ripeness. It is bone dry and ultra crisp, making it a winner with everyone, but it has a lot more going on than for example Rueda Verdejo. Even more so than it's neighbouring sibling Albarino, this is a rare grape that can satisfy a Chardy and Sauv drinker at the same time....essentially a Democrat and Republican - polar opposites (no suggestion of which is which). 

Starting with an old-school producer, VIA ARXENTEA BIANCO is Godello mixed with a couple of varieties out of stainless steel. GUIMARO BIANCO from Ribera Sacra is Godello from ancient vines.
