Description
Type:
Bottle / Champagne
(70% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Meunier)
Henri Goutorbe is a small family run operation with its vineyards in the Grand Cru Village of Ay. Production across their range is less than 30,000 bottles annually. Goutorbe are famous amongst growers and producers as they are one of the industry leaders of vine cutting and propagation and their nursery is responsible for some of the finest vines in Champagne. This is incredible value for what you are getting: Grand Cru fruit, made in small quantities from some of the finest vines in Champagne. This oozes class, but more importantly; value. STSWine

“Rather beguiling yet discreet nose defers to an interesting spicy person ality in the mouth, with green apple, white pepper and even cardamom in evidence; intriguing, lots to like”. DECANTER MAGAZINE GROWER CHAMPAGNE TASTING PANEL JULY 2017.
