A little micro negociant, Orance started renting garage space from the famous Domaine Romanee Conti in the back streets of Vosne Romanee. He is now based in Nuits and has acess to some of the greatest parcels in Burgundy. He ploughs the land himself if he is buying grapes, all reds are biodynamic, whole cluster, all gravity, no pump throughs, all old neutral oak and minimum sulphur. STSWine

3-Pack includes; one of the wines of the year last year, Bourgogne Blanc 2017. Price to punch ratio is outrageous. Basically a de-classified Puligny-Montrachet off 30 year old vines. Hautes Cotes de Nuits Rouge 2019 is a serious, serious bit of Burg. 40 year old vines, blend of 2 plots near the Nuits St. George, whole cluster and 12 months in oak. 12%. Savage. Lastly Marsannay Les ‘Longeroies’ 2019 is a large climat of Marsannay, just beside Clos du Ro. Whole clusters of 40 to 50 year-old Pinot Noir are naturally fermented in barrel and aged for over 12 months in second passage French oak. Elegant and perfumed, showing the typical pretty raspberry fruit character of Marsannay. 2580 bottles produced. Marsannay just gets better and better every vintage.
