Description
Type:
Bottle / RED
One of the most well known wines on the Irish scene. Les Deux Cols (the two colts) are/were Simon Tyrell and Charles Derain. They have been joined on the project by Gerard Maguire, owner of 64 Wine. There are a number of cuvees in the stable, but this is the most prominent. Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, it is elegant and pretty bloody graceful. Indigenous yeast, grown in a higher, cooler area AND being picked earlier than their peers, the juice goes into concrete to retain purity. Finally a new label, we can now call out the other, terrible label! The 3 trees on the label refer to the now 3 owners and wine makers. We can only presume the big one in the middle is Gerard. STSwine
