SICK OF THE SAME OLD WHITES?
From Italy, I Clivi FRUILANO is an umami-led, savoury and racy white from the North. Arnold Holzer Zero-G from Austria is made from GRUNER VELTLINER, a grape famous for its re-appearing acidity.
From Spain, Menade Vino Biologico is made from VERDEJO, a spritzy white found more of less exclusively in Rueda. Moving stateside, Folk Machine White Light (White Heat) inspired by the Velvet Underground packs in a load of varieties for a seriously unusual blend: TOCAI / RIESLING / VERDEHLO & SAUVIGNON BLANC.
Finishing in France, Beauregard Mirouze Campana is made from MARSANNE & ROUSANNE for oily texture, but also VERMENTINO to ad brisk acidy. Bruno Lupin Frangy from Savoie made from ALTESE, it is refreshing but luxurious. STSWine
