6 ECLECTIC, UNUSUAL & ENERGETIC WHITES FOR SUMMER
Sick of Chardy, Sauv. & Grigio? Arnold Holzer Zero-G is a funkily-labelled Austrian wine from the trendiest grape of the moment; Gruner Veltliner. Gasper Carman Malvazija screams holiday - from the salty maritime minerality to the Adriatic seascape that adorns the label. Exclusive to the Rueda region of Spain is Verdejo, a spritzy number from Arrocal. One of our wines of the year Candea Bianco from Quinta de Muradella is made from Treixadura and Doña Blanca and shows beautiful weight and texture. Consider auditions for your Summer house wine open. With a little more weight and texture, from the Northern Rhone and Irishman Simon Tyrell is Les Deux Cols Zephr, made from 100% Rousanne. Lastly made from German hybrid variety Muller Thurgau, is Arnold Holzer Invaders. This wine is made with a lot of skin contact and is a great intro to the alien world of Orange wine. STSWine
