6 Nebbiolo from outside the traditional catchement grounds of The Langhe, Barolo & Barbaresco.Arpepe Valtellina Rosso is helicoptor harvested Nebbiolo from Lombardy, high up on the border region. It is elegant and classy, with concentration, perfume and great length and balance. Tibaldi Roero Rosso is Nebbiolo from the Roero, an area that is geologically older than Barolo. The sandy soils and rugged windswept terrain contributes to a more high toned still, clean bright and with fabbulous acidity and intensity. La Smilla Monferrato Nebbiolo is a brand new wine from the regions newest DOC; Monferrato. This is an exciting first release.

Gabriela Scaglione 'Tutto Dipende da dove vuoi andare' Rosso (meaning it all depends where you want to go) is a 50/50 Nebbiolo/Barbera blend that matches Nebbiolo's majesty with Barbera's luscious mouthfeel. Banfi 'La Lus' Albarossa is a brauny, powerful number made from Albarossa, a new grape of which Nebbiolo is a parent. This is very rare and the bohemouth producer Banfi makes it's greatest expression. Finally, from Bramaterra right up on the Swiss border, La Palazzina Costa Della Sesia Vigneti is a unique proposition, so elegant, so stylish, to be sipped and sniffed for hours. STSWine
