Stylish, Incisive & Elegant:
Wine: Camp Chardonnay
Coutry, Region: California, USA
Grape: Chardonnay

A Chardonnay from Kenny Likitptrakong, the maestro of California and owner of the world first net zero winery. This is Burgundian in style, aged in neutral oak before being racked back into stainless steel for freshness and purity. This is a stunning example - check out our terrific Kenny L 6-Pack, click HERE.
Wine: Louis Michel Petit Chablis
Coutry, Region: Chablis, France
Grape: Chardonnay

To the steely Chardonnay of Chablis. The Petit in Chablis signals that the wine has been produced on Portlandian Soil and opposed to Kimmeridgian soil, upon which traditional Chablis is produced. This is a growth area. Louis Michel is one of the regions finest producers. The most famous producer is William Fevre, we have collectors items from that house HERE.
Wine: Folk Machine White Light
Coutry, Region: California, USA
Grape: Blend

Another one from Kenny Likitaprakong. From his Folk Machine label (he has a number of labels in his subset) this is a really cool wine with a whole milky way of white varieties including French, Italian and German. As if you need any more reason, check out our Kenny pack HERE.
Wine: Sandhi Santa Rita Hills
Coutry, Region: California, USA
Grape: Pinot Noir

Stunner of a Pinot Noir produced by Rajat Parr, the patron saint of Sommeliers turned wine maker. This label is all focused on balance and purity, to die for Pinot that recently scooped 93 Points in the Wine Advocate. A bundle with his other labels can be found HERE.
Wine: Valerie Couregges 'Ocrement-Dit'
Coutry, Region: Cahors, France
Grape: Malbec

This is a decadent bit of Malbec, a dark sappy and inky core of fruit recalls the fact that Cahors Cot (the local name for Malbec) was previously known as the black wine of Cahors. But then it opens up to reveal a sappy undertow of red fruit. Valerie Couregges is someone to get excited about. This is drop dead gorgeous.
Wine: Frisach 'Sang de Corbs'
Coutry, Region: Terre Alta, Spain
Grape: Garnacha

Carignan, Grenache and the awesome named Garnacha Peluda (meaning hairy Grenache) makes up the blend here. Wild untamed varieties made via wild and untamed methods. Frisach is a Catalan beauty, its delicate and elegant but long and complex. And what a label!
Showy, Powerful & Long
Wine: Gabriele Scaglione 'Ellis'
Coutry, Region: Piedmont, Italy
Grape: Arneis & Chardonnay

Gab. Scag. named this wine after dog Ellis, there's a little silhouette on the label. He believes that white wine from Italian can age. I was unsure about his these until I tried this Arneis & Chardonnay blend, have a look at his wines HERE.
Wine: La Souer Cadette Bourgogne Blanc
Coutry, Region: Burgundy, France
Grape: Chardonnay

Is there anything better than White Burgundy? No there isn't, especially when it comes from this, a producer Kermit Lynch describes as one of the best in the region. Stellar Chardonnay, round buttery flesh backed by a lovely line of acid.
Wine: Domaine des Amiel Gacian
Coutry, Region: Languedoc, France
Grape: Chenin Blanc

Wow, they've done it this time. Chenin Blanc as we have said is a chameleon, capable of taking any shape or form. Here they take advantage of its ample skin to make a skin contact, or orange wine with magnificent details. This needs to be sat over and pondered. Food with bold and rich flavours. This is a main course white.
Wine: Arrocal Crianza
Coutry, Region: Ribera del Duero, Spain
Grape: Tempranillo

Crianza in Ribera del Duero refers to a minimum ageing required of 24 months (12 in oak, 12 in bottle). The result is more power and depth than Rioja Crianza. This is an original iron fist in a velvet glove. Give it a wide birth, will age several decades but can be drunk now, just needs lots of air and lots of flavour in the accompanying food! Arrocal full range is HERE.
Wine: Hobo Cabernet
Coutry, Region: California, USA
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon

HOBO is from the Kenny Likitaprakong stable and is so named because he himself used to sleep rough on the surf beaches of California before he became a wine making extraordinaire. This unusual Cali. Cabernet is low in alcohol (13.5% is super low for Cali. Cab) and really drinkable. Retains the natural swagger of the variety - Kenny 6-Pack, get it HERE!
Wine: Novacorte Amarone
Coutry, Region: Veneto, Italy
Grape: Corvina & Rondinella

Wine: La Souer Cadette Bourgogne Blanc
Coutry, Region: Burgundy, France
Grape: Chardonnay

Wine: Novacorte Amarone
Coutry, Region: Veneto, Italy
Grape: Corvina & Rondinella

Amarone is, simply put, the heaviest of heavy wines. Made from Corvina & Rondinella (with a couple others). These grapes are already syrupy and alcoholic, but the process of making Amarone requires the grapes to be dried out to create further concentration. There is a bitterness to the wine (Amarone means bitter) that makes it unreal with any char. The wines can run all the way up to 17%!!!
