I first wrote a GAME OF RHONES retail offer for the Prince Wine Store in Melbourne in 2013. It was always the most popular of the year. We finished up in 2019 with a whopper offer for the finale detailing over 50 wines. Specific wine producing countries were linked to the houses of Westeros, specific wines were linked to specific characters. House Lanniser was Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Dornish wine was Australian, everyone's favourite wine maker Simon Tyrell was Ned Stark of Winterfell. It was fun, it was geeky!
