Ata Rangi 'Crimson' 2016 and King Crimson 'In the Court of the Crimson King'. Lots of imitators. No equals. Ata Rangi launched Kiwi Pinot Noir the same as King Crimson did Prog-Rock: by inventing it, dominating it, owning it and being admired by all. Each were steered by an uncompromising visionary (Clive Paton & Robert Fripp respectively) who in turn were each told they were mad at the outset.
