Made using Palomino grapes from the estate vineyards. It's matured by means of the 'solera and criadera' system with tiers of casks for 12 years. The striking nose emits notes of woodwork and dried fruits and nuts, with saline notes in the background. There is a dry palate, brimming with nuances; toasted almonds, hazelnuts and subtle touches of raisins and caramel. A long and herbaceous aftertaste with a flourish of good acidity which keeps it very lively. GERARD MAGUIRE
